About the Program
Chicana EduPlate is a culturally grounded food justice curriculum rooted in STEM, social-emotional learning, and sustainable living. Our goal is to reconnect youth with the land, their food, and their community through hands-on gardening and whole-food nutrition education.
Students are grouped into themed learning bands:

- Sprouts (Grades K–2): Foundational concepts of plants, food origins, and feelings
- Growers (Grades 3–5): Garden basics, healthy meals, and seasonal cycles
- Cultivators (Grades 6–8): Food justice, body systems, and cultural connections
- Harvesters (Grades 9–12): Leadership in sustainability, community wellness, and real-world advocacy
